The edge is the difference

Cheap microfiber towels often use stitched polyester edges. The microfiber itself may be soft, but that stitched edge is usually the hardest part of the towel — and the first thing to touch your paint. LIGHT TERRY is edgeless, so there's no edge to mar a panel; it's safe to use directly on the body of the car, not just around it. The 80/20 blend is deliberately firmer and more hard-wearing too — exactly what the rough, dirty jobs ask for: wheels, door jambs, engine-bay edges, trim.

Care

Wash separately from cotton — cotton lint clogs the fibers. Microfiber detergent is best; mild liquid detergent is fine. Never use fabric softener — it kills absorbency. Air-dry or tumble low. Looked after, it lasts hundreds of washes.
