245 GSM Edgeless Microfiber Towel for General Cleaning — LIGHT TERRY
LIGHT TERRY is the everyday workhorse of the Khemia Plus lineup — and it's still made the right way. 245 GSM, 80/20 blend, edgeless construction, 40×40 cm. The firmer 80/20 weave is built for the cleaning you do every week — wheels, door jambs, engine bays, general wipe-downs — and the edgeless edge means you can do that work near paint without risking the marks a stitched-edge generic leaves behind. It's the most accessible towel we make, so you can keep several in rotation.
Safe on paint, tough enough for the dirty jobs
Most cheap microfiber towels in Egypt have stitched polyester edges that can drag and mar paint — even when you're "just" wiping a wheel or a wet panel. LIGHT TERRY skips the stitched edge — the same edgeless construction we use on our premium towels — so it's genuinely paint-safe. Its 80/20 blend is firmer and more hard-wearing, which is exactly what you want for the rougher, dirtier jobs: wheels, door jambs, engine-bay edges, and around trim, without worrying that a careless wipe leaves a mark you'll spot on Sunday morning.
It's not as plush as THE DAILY, and it's not made for polish removal or coating leveling — those are different jobs for different towels. LIGHT TERRY is the one you reach for when the work is general cleaning and you'd rather keep several in rotation than baby one expensive towel.
Where it earns its place
- Car wash and rinse-down — drying door jambs, sills, engine-bay edges, wheels and tires after the wash
- General exterior wipe-downs — light dust, water spots, bird droppings caught early
- Interior quick cleanup — vents, cup holders, console grime, anywhere a soft cloth helps
- Wheels and tires — safe enough to use near paint, economical enough to dedicate one to wheel work
- Garage and household — workbenches, tools, kitchen counters, glass tabletops, anywhere a microfiber cloth beats a paper towel
Four colors, if you want to color-code
LIGHT TERRY comes in Blue, Yellow, Sky Blue, and Black. You don't need all four — but if you keep a few towels going at once, color-coding is the simplest way to keep dirty fibers off clean surfaces. Many detailers use a darker color like Black for the grimiest work (wheels, engine bay) and a lighter one for interior, but there's no fixed system — assign the colors to whatever jobs make sense for you. The point is just that the wheel towel never ends up on your dashboard.
How LIGHT TERRY fits your kit
If you're building a car-care kit from scratch, this is the towel you buy in quantity for the everyday work that adds up. Pair a few LIGHT TERRY with one or two THE DAILY for the jobs where softness and density matter (interior detailing, polish residue lift), and a PEARL or CARBON GLASS for the specialty work (coatings, glass). LIGHT TERRY is the base layer the rest of the kit sits on top of.
And if you're a casual owner who washes at home every week or two, three or four LIGHT TERRY towels handle most of what you actually do.

Care instructions
Wash separately from cotton (cotton lint clogs microfiber). Microfiber-specific detergent is ideal; mild liquid detergent is fine. Never fabric softener — it kills the absorbency. Air dry or low heat. Treated right, even the most affordable towel in our lineup lasts hundreds of washes.
